No foul language please, we’re femly
‘Family values’ have prevented some families from seeing Omkara. Their loss.
I think the film was very well done. It had a few weaknesses, but on the whole it was full of passion, drama, breathtaking visuals… I didn’t care for the music, though. What I really liked was the narrative structure, the non-wedding at the beginning and the non-wedding at the end.
I won’t blog about the film because I’m writing about it elsewhere. I will say, though, that I agree with Neha’s take on the offensive remarks in this review.
And one last thing. My soft white cat called Bilkul - Billoo for short - will now be known as Billoo Chaman Bahar.

hope you post the link to your review..
about the ht review..reminds me of a character in a vonnegut novel who can’t stop himself from uttering profanities/cusses every few seconds (i guess you’d have a better recollection).. i can’t see how this review was allowed to be published - this guy is sick.. and it isn’t just the women in the movie (he makes barely a pretence about discussing the movie and the characters as they were presented, in my view,it’s all about the actors)..the meat of his review is devoted to discussing ..’meat’..and he doesn’t spare the men either - one of the last lines about vivek oberoi was very uncharitable.

You are writing about the movie elsewhere. That is so not fair to your loyal Indian Writing readers :-)
I read the HT review from your link and it is awful. It does not read like a movie review at all but more like a review of their physiques. Why would HT publish a piece like this?
